My Story

My mission is to help people lead with intention, live with balance, and reclaim their strength after burnout—through radically compassionate, evidence-informed support that honors both their humanity and their healing.

I’ve worked with leaders, creatives, and professionals who felt disconnected from their purpose—not because they lacked drive, but because they lacked space to breathe, reflect, and realign. That’s what this work offers: a space to come home to yourself.

This isn’t just coaching—it’s a reclamation. A reminder that burnout isn’t a failure, but a signal. That your humanity isn’t a liability—it’s your greatest leadership asset. And that healing isn’t only cognitive—it’s creative, embodied, and deeply personal.

I hold a PhD in Strategic Leadership, with a research focus on identifying and addressing employee burnout. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across industries in roles that center around enabling high performance in others. But more than titles or metrics, my driving force has always been this: to make work-life a little better for people. To help shift the toxic corporate culture we’ve all endured. And to remind leaders that humanity is not a weakness—it’s the foundation of sustainable success.

Why Burnout?

Many people ask me why I focus so deeply on burnout. The answer is personal. I’ve lived through significant stages of burnout in my own career—times when I felt broken, isolated, and unsure of how to move forward. Those experiences led me to pursue my doctorate, not just to understand burnout academically, but to ensure others wouldn’t have to navigate it alone.

Burnout isn’t just a productivity issue—it’s a human one. And healing from it requires more than surface-level solutions. It requires space, support, and a shift in how we lead and live.

I’m based in Charlotte, NC, and when I’m not coaching or leading retreats, you’ll find me on a yoga mat, hiking trail, or walking by the ocean. The beach is my happy place—and it’s the inspiration behind my Hello Sunshine Retreats & Workshops. I created them to offer people the feeling of warmth and clarity that comes after a storm—the sensation of sunlight on your face when you finally come up for air.

My hope is to help you find that ray of sunshine. To offer support, clarity, and a safe space to grow. Because you deserve to lead a life that honors your capacity, your values, and your humanity.
